Jer 5.3

主よ、あなたの目は、真実を顧みられるではありませんか。

あなたが彼らを打たれても、
痛みを覚えず、彼らを滅ぼされても、
懲しめを受けることを拒み、その顔を岩よりも堅くして、
悔い改めることを拒みました。

 O Lord, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to (a) return.
