Parents divorced? You’re not alone.

A few comforting truths.

Members of the Church know that temple marriage is an important part of God’s plan—which makes it especially hard when parents get divorced!

In the video above, Natalie talks about her experiences. Her testimony reminds us of these important truths:

Heavenly Father loves your parents and will help them, just as He loves and helps you.

Your parents are responsible for their own decisions. It’s not your job to “fix” your family, and it’s not your fault if things don’t work out.

As with all trials, Jesus Christ understands exactly how you feel. Keep turning to Him. He will eventually bring you comfort and peace, even if it takes time.

You will always belong to a loving heavenly family in a heavenly home that you can return to one day.
